Richard founded Premium Floors in 2013 with a single conviction — that the highest laser-screed and finishing standards used anywhere in the world could be delivered, by one accountable team, on Indian sites. He still walks every major pour before it is signed off.

Richard Newton has spent his career in industrial concrete flooring — superflat pours, vacuum-dewatered floors and densified polished slabs. He founded Premium Floors in 2013.
Under his leadership, the practice has grown into a two-hundred-strong team operating out of MIDC Industrial Area, Nagpur — delivering slabs to distribution, manufacturing, cold-storage and infrastructure clients across India.
The tolerance standard has not changed. The one-team accountability has not changed.
Design the mix for the loading, not the ribbon-cut. Cast to a laser, not an eye. Densify before the surface is sealed, not after. Test to specification at hand-over — and again at anniversary.
Role
Richard leads client relationships, mix design, tolerance specification and final QC on every major Premium Floors project. He is the practice's decision of last resort on what goes into a slab.
On site
Richard walks every major project — from first laser-fix of joints, through the burnish window, to groove cutting on the last panel. He does not delegate the last hour of a pour.
